Multiple Repos

Motiro seems to fit well the centralized version control system mindset: it is able to show all the changes made to one repo sequentially. When moving to distributed systems the maintainer branch was the obvious candidate, but that doesn't do justice to all the other branches that may be scattered around. To be a real community tool, Motiro needs to provide some way to track multiple repos/branches.

Ideas for Implementation

Following the current EverythingIsAWiki theme, the repos could be added by editing a (special) wiki page that lists all the available repos. When a branch was added, the engine would be responsible for fetching the changes and displaying the history in an organized fashion.

Questions for the future

What is an "organized fashion" for displaying the history?

Motiro fails miserably when trying to fetch the feed for pages that do not exist. It could at least fail with a proper 4xx error code or deliver an empty feed.

It is possible, in the brief span of some hours, to see times in the future for Darcs revisions. Some changes are shown as happening "3 hours from now", for example.

The Darcs reporter seems to use the GMT timestamp contained in the patch hashcode to make its work, instead of local time. Adjusting for server local time should fix this issue.

Revision comments sent to the source code repo can include references to suggested features, but the references do not get stroked when the feature gets done.

This probably has something to do with server caching. The feature reference gets properly decorated when it is marked as done before any referring revision comment is viewed. When the revision is viewed before the feature, the page seems to be cached without the strike and served always this way. The revision cache is never obsoleted.

Erro na visualização do Histórico

Quando eu estou no histórico de uma página, e tento acessar algum link do histórico não consigo visualizar corretamente o mesmo.

Isto só acontece quando o usuário está autenticado e não é o mesmo que criou a página.
